We have validations available at Nordstrom North Bridge located at 516 N. Rush Street for $12 for 4 hours. We also have validations at ROW parking garage located at 50 E Ohio Street for $11 for 14 hours. Please ask us for the validation at your appointment.
Your time is very important to us and we take pride in our punctuality. We allow a full hour for your scheduled treatment, thus we ask that you make every effort to keep your appointment and to be on time. Missing an appointment or arriving late greatly disrupts our office’s efficiency.
You can choose from two methods to contact us about an appointment.
You can book your appointment here. You can schedule a teeth cleaning appointment with your favorite hygienist and/or dental appointments with Dr. William J. Frericks, Dr. Ingrid Schwarz or Dr. Nathan Pinsky. You can also call 312-337-4424 to make any appointments.
We accept most PPO insurance plans and will gladly processes your claim. However, you must realize that your insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. We are not a party to that contract and can only estimate what, if any, your insurance may reimburse you for treatment rendered in our office.
Please bring your dental insurance card with you on your first visit. Insurance policies generally cover only a portion of the total treatment cost. Unless other arrangements have been made, we ask that you pay your portion of the bill at the time of treatment. It is your responsibility to pay any balance not paid by your insurance company.
In order for you to most fully understand your insurance coverage, we would like to share some facts about dental insurance with you.
FACT #1: Our recommendations for treatment are based on your dental health. While we certainly will attempt to help you collect your portion from your insurance company, our responsibility is to examine, diagnose and treat your dental condition. Your insurance company’s responsibility is to generate profit for its shareholders.
FACT #2: You many receive a letter mentioning “usual and customary fees”. An insurance company surveys a geographic area to find average fees and then sets an arbitrary amount for each procedure as its “usual and customary fee”. Included in the fee survey are discount clinics, insurance clinics and federally funded clinics that will bring down the average. Most doctors in private practice will have fees that are above the “usual and customary fees” that are set by insurance companies. This is a common method for insurance companies use to limit their liability.
FACT #3: Insurance companies will often tell you “fees are above usual and customary fees” rather than “our benefits are too low”. The amount your plan pays you is determined by how much your employer paid for the plan. The less your employer paid the less you will receive. Remember, you get back only what your employer put in.
FACT #4: Most dental insurance plans will help you maintain a healthy mouth. However, dental insurance was never designed to allow for complete financial assistance in cases where moderate to extensive treatment is needed. Most plans will cover 35-65% of services, and that varies widely from company to company.
FACT #5: Insurance companies do not cover many routine dental services. Often, very effective treatments such as night guards, sealants, arestin, and oral cancer screenings are excluded from coverage. This is another common method insurance companies use to limit their liability.
For your convenience, we also accept payments made with your American Express and Visa or MasterCard.
